FAQs

Do you offer in-home visits?

I do! I offer in-home massages, exclusively. I take the challenge out of your day and bring the massage to you!

With a folding massage table and portable setup, I come to you. We require a cleared space of about 8ft x 5ft so I can move around the table easily.

I bring the spa to you.

I work full-time, do you offer after work or weekend bookings?

Yes, check out My Calendar of available booking slots to find a time that works best for you.

Do I have to fully undress?

No, our therapists will ask you to remove clothing only as far as you feel comfortable.

The therapist will leave the room while you're undressing and will provide towels and blankets to cover you during the massage. There are some massages that work well if you want to remain clothed, so discuss this with us before you book.

What if I fall asleep and drool or snore?

It's normal to fall asleep during a massage. You might be feeling stressed and sleep-deprived, so falling asleep is normal once you're in a relaxed state.

There's zero judgment from us if you snore. We're pleased you're relaxed enough to fall asleep, and we won’t mention it. Drooling is also common, especially if you're on your front. Ask us for a tissue, and we'll be glad to grab one for you.

I have lots of allergies, so can’t use scented products. Do you have scent-free options?

Yes! If you are scent-sitive to smells, just let us know prior to your appointment. You can choose between scent-free or aromatherapy oils.

How long is a massage treatment?

All our massages are offered in 45, 60, and 90 minute increments. Simply select the desired massage and duration.

There is a spot for notes in the intake form which must be completed prior to your appointment.

Do you offer direct billing to extended health care providers?

Yes, we are able to direct bill to most major Extended Health Care providers and provide receipts for tax purposes.

Please be sure to provide your Health Insurer name and policy number on the intake form when you are placing a booking.

What treatment modalities do you specialize in?

My massage approach is designed to help you feel your best.

I’m able to tailor and customize each massage using a variety of techniques and modalities such as:

What is the cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy requires a minimum of 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will result in the full treatment cost being charged to the credit card on file.

I’ve never had a massage, are they painful?

It's not unusual to feel some soreness after a massage. This is due to a release of lactic acid in the muscles, but it should be temporary and doesn't last long.

You may experience some discomfort during your massage. This depends on the area we're working on, any pre-existing pains, and the amount of pressure.

If you experience pain or tenderness please let your therapist know and they can adjust pressure, change locations or techniques to ensure your safety and comfort.

What does my first appointment look like?

Prior to your appointment we ask you to complete a health history intake form so we understand the reason for your visit and your concerns/goals.

When we first meet we’ll go over any questions you have, and confirm specific treatment styles and then allow you some privacy to remove your clothing, if you choose, and lay on the massage table.

We encourage you to let us know if you have questions, painful areas etc, and we will also check-in throughout the massage to ensure your comfort.
